3D-iT was proud to be involved in printing the Red Bull Solo Q League of Legends tournament winners trophy for New Zealand.
Red Bull Solo Q is a one-on-one League of Legends tournament series that focuses on solo players instead of team play. The tournament is an expansion of Red Bull Player One, a similar League of Legends solo tournament that started more than eight years ago. The game is open to all League of Legends players worldwide. Regional ones will follow the national qualifiers, and the champion of each event will participate in the finals later this year.

Designing the real thing
Developing the trophy for 3D printing was challenging, and it used a combination of 3D resin printing for high-quality detail and PETG filament printing for strength. Our client finished the trophy with a handpainted piece, achieving a high-quality gold finish.
